Former President Donald Trump is not surprised by the reports that the anti-Israel protests that have been held on campuses across the United States have been funded in part by President Joe Biden’s donors.
Trump said this after courtroom proceedings in his hush money trial wrapped up on Monday. Speaking to reporters, he addressed a report by POLITICO that said that Democrat donors such as George Soros, David Rockefeller Jr., Bill and Melinda Gates and the Pritzker family, were providing financial support for activist groups like IfNotNow and Jewish Voice for Peace who are responsible for some of the protests that have rocked American universities.
Speaking about the revelation that Biden’s biggest donors are financially backing the agitators, Trump said, “It also came out that the protesters, many of the protesters, are backed by Biden’s donors. OK, are you listening Israel? I hope you’re listening Israel. I hope you’re getting smart. But they are backed by Biden’s donors, that’s where the money’s coming from. And I’m not surprised at all.”

According to the POLITICO report, both Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow are supported by the Tides Foundation, which is funded by Soros and Gates. Tides also receives funding from Hyatt Hotel empire heir Nick Pritzker and his wife Susan as well as from the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, which is directed by a board on which Rockefeller Jr. sits.
A day before his comments on the donors, Trump said that Biden was the reason for the protests.
In a post to Truth Social, he wrote, “The primary reason for all of these terrible protests is Crooked Joe Biden. He is unable to talk, unable to reason, unable to put two simple sentences together, unable to even climb 3 steps to a helicopter, or the main stairs to Air Force One. In other words, his mind and body are shot.”
“Now we have the protests, and Crooked Joe Biden doesn’t know what to do — Next will be World War Three, and everything else! We are a Nation in Serious Decline, a Failing Nation, but we will not be a Failing Nation much longer. Four years ago we were a GREAT NATION, AND WE WILL SOON BE A GREAT NATION AGAIN!!!
