Kennedy has expressed displeasure at the requirement that seeks to block him from participating in a couple of presidential debates proposed by Biden. In a post to X, he accused Trump and Biden of “colluding” to exclude him from the debate, saying, “Presidents Trump and Biden are colluding to lock America into a head-to-head match-up that 70% say they do not want.”
“They are trying to exclude me from their debate because they are afraid I would win. Keeping viable candidates off the debate stage undermines democracy. Forty-three percent of Americans identify as independents. If Americans are ever going to escape the hammerlock of the two-party system, now is the time to do it. These are the two most unpopular candidates in living memory,” he continued.
“By excluding me from the stage, Presidents Biden and Trump seek to avoid discussion of their eight years of mutual failure including deficits, wars, lockdowns, chronic disease, and inflation,” the independent presidential candidate added.

Kennedy comes amid talks of a presidential debate between Biden and Trump after Biden challenged Trump to a debate in a video released on Wednesday.
In the video shared on social media, Biden said, “Now he is acting like he wants to debate me again. Well, make my day, pal. I’ll even do it twice. So let’s pick the dates, Donald. I hear you’re free on Wednesdays.”
Trump, who has challenged the president to a debate for months, has accepted the debate proposed by Biden.
He indicated his openness to the proposed debate in a post to Truth Social, which he began by slamming Biden as “the WORST debater I have ever faced.”
“He can’t put two sentences together! Crooked is also the WORST President in the history of the United States, by far. It’s time for a debate so that he can explain to the American People his highly destructive Open Border Policy, new and ridiculous EV Mandates, the allowance of Crushing Inflation, High Taxes, and his really WEAK Foreign Policy, which is allowing the World to ‘Catch on Fire,’” he wrote.
“I am Ready and Willing to Debate Crooked Joe at the two proposed times in June and September. I would strongly recommend more than two debates and, for excitement purposes, a very large venue, although Biden is supposedly afraid of crowds – That’s only because he doesn’t get them. Just tell me when, I’ll be there. ‘Let’s get ready to Rumble!!!’” he added.
