A group of anti-Israel protesters showed up at Sen. John Fetterman’s (D-PA) Braddock home, waving Palestinian flags. “Fetterman, Fetterman, you can’t hide. You’re supporting genocide,” the protesters shouted repeatedly.
But Fetterman appeared unmoved by the protests, as he responded by giving a little show of his own.
As seen in a video posted on X, Fetterman stood on top of his roof and waved an Israeli flag back at the Pro–Palestinians.

Fetterman has been vocal in his support for Israel amid the Israel-Hamas war, angering many on the far left, including members of “The Squad.” Not long after Hamas attacked Israel on Oct. 7, 2023, Fetterman filled his Senate office with the posters of the Israelis who had been kidnapped by Hamas during the attack.
The Pennsylvania Congressman also spoke in defense of Israel on Jan. 10 when South Africa accused it of “genocide” in condemnation of its counter attack on Hamas-controlled Gaza.
“Now we’re talking about genocide. And now, South Africa now, is bringing that kind of a trial. Maybe South Africa … ought to sit this one out when they’re talking about criticizing Israel. Sit it out!” he said.
The demonstration against Fetterman saw a heavy amount of criticism on X, with columnist and podcaster Jen Wright writing, “I’m not too proud to admit that I misjudged @SenFettermanPA And I will also note, IMHO, it is never ok to protest at someone’s home. It is an intimidation tactic and is abhorrent. Protest in the public square. Leave families out of it!!”

“Of the many things I didn’t see coming, my true and lasting deep love for John Fetterman was high on the list,” tweeted Jewish financier and AQR Capital Management co-founder Clifford Asness.
