Senator Josh Hawley FURIOUS – Trangender Flag to be Replaced With AMERICA’S Motto

Transgender Flag

Senator Josh Hawley (R-MO) has called for the transgender flag to be stripped from all federal buildings, and replaced with the nation’s long standing motto, “In God we trust.”

The debate comes on the heels of a controversial new Louisiana law that requires public schools in the state to display the biblical Ten Commandments in classrooms. Senator Hawley made the comments while addressing The Faith & Freedom Coalition’s Road to Majority Policy Conference, in which he advocated for Christian values in classrooms across America by saying that LGBTQ identity politics should not be taught.

According to Hawley, religion was a unifying force in American society and not one that divided. He told the conservative conference, “Who is dividing America is the radical Left. And that’s why I say to you, we don’t need less Christian influence in our society, we don’t need less Christian witness in our society, we need more, in every part of government, in every part of society. You know what we ought to do? We ought to take the pride flag out of schools and put the Bible back in. You know what? We ought to take the trans flag down from all of our federal buildings and over every federal building in America write the words, ‘In God we trust!’ ‘In God we trust!’ Amen!”

“In God we trust” has been the national motto since President Eisenhower. He served as an advocate of a recovery of this heritage, saying the motto symbolized America’s distinctive purpose.

The former president called for a greater Christian presence in business, slamming the conduct of corporations. “Christians should be doing business,” he said, “We need more Christians in business and in the C-suite; we need more Christian CEOs.” He derided corporate practices like hiring DEI officers while offshoring jobs and weakening American families.

Hawley’s vision was one of a society with Christian businesses being run by Americans, for Americans. He posed the following questions, “What would it be like if we had some Christian CEOs who would actually put America first, who would pay their American workers good wages that they could support a family on, raise a family? Wouldn’t that be incredible?” he asked. “Wouldn’t it be amazing if we had good Christian policy across the board, economic policy? What’s the Bible say? The Bible says you shall not charge your brother usury. We’ve got credit card companies that are charging 40% and 50% interest on their credit cards. They are, that’s outrageous.”

Hawley is up for re-election to a second term in his Missouri U.S. Senate seat this fall, after defeating Democrat Claire McCaskill in 2018.
