Georgia Governor Brian Kemp SIDES WITH TRUMP After Saying Nasty Comments

Georgia Governor Brian Kemp has shrugged off recent criticisms from former President Donald Trump as a “small distraction that’s in the past” and his “focus is on the future”.

In an interview with Fox News Digital, the two-time governor highlighted the importance of Georgia in the upcoming 2024 presidential election.

“The road to the White House is going to run through Georgia,” Kemp said, and “no Republican, Donald Trump included, is going to win the presidency without Georgia’s electoral votes.”

His latest comments come after Trump praised him on social media while thanking him “for all of your help and support in Georgia” in less than a month.

It appears that the former president is finally supporting the governor after calling him “a very average governor” at a rally in Atlanta earlier this month.

However, despite Trump’s unreliability, Kemp reaffirmed his support for the Republican ticket.

“Until someone tells me differently, I’m on that team,” he quit on the possibility of running for president himself.

The governor emphasized the importance of moving past disagreements and focusing on the future. Trump’s kind words about the governor, he claims, show that everyone shares “a good understanding of where everyone is” despite their public disagreements.

Although Kemp shares Trump’s viewpoint on the 2020 fraud allegations, the governor has not changed his stance since the issue emerged. He is gearing up for the 2024 election to ensure Georgia will be crucial for the GOP impeachment.
