Barry Keoghan has taken a step back from social media, deactivating his Instagram account shortly after sharing several sultry selfies in the wake of his separation from Sabrina Carpenter.
The 32-year-old actor initially appeared confident in his posts, showcasing his physique and flashing a beaming smile. However, the photos were quickly removed amid swirling controversy about his alleged communications with influencer Breckie Hill during his relationship with Carpenter.
Barry Keoghan reveals he deactivated social media due to negativity and harassment: “Messages no one should read… lies, hatred, attacks on my appearance, character, and parenting. Even intimidation outside my baby boy’s house. That’s crossing a line.” #BarryKeoghan #instagram pic.twitter.com/X0pDrn8reC

Speculation about infidelity intensified following a DeuxMoi submission that stated, “Apparently he and his pop star girlfriend called it quits very suddenly less than a week before her final shows in LA after she found out he had been chatting with said influencer behind her back for months in a not-innocent-at-all way.”
Internet detectives identified Hill, 21, as the potential other woman, noting her matching characteristics – blonde hair, LA residence, and substantial TikTok following. Hill added fuel to the rumors by sharing content that seemingly suggested her involvement with Keoghan, including a cryptic margarita post potentially referencing his film “Saltburn.”
Barry Keoghan shares statement on why he deactivated his Instagram:
“I deactivated my account because I can no longer let this stuff distract from my family and my work. The messages I have received no person should ever have to read them. Absolute lies, hatred, disgusting… pic.twitter.com/JUIshnqDH8

While Hill hasn’t explicitly confirmed any relationship with the “Bird” actor, and Keoghan remains silent on the allegations, sources told People the split occurred because both parties are “young and career-focused.”
Unlike Keoghan’s retreat from the spotlight, Carpenter, 25, maintains her public presence, recently launching her Netflix special “A Nonsense Christmas.” The “Espresso” singer appeared upbeat during a promotional event in New York City, suggesting she’s moving forward despite the breakup drama.
