Former Hillary Clinton campaign Spokesman Karen Finney ripped Democrats for fear mongering over losing the White House, which she suggested could become a self-fulfilling prophecy in November.
A column in “The Hill” sparked intense reaction across social media, proposing Hillary Clinton as a potentially formidable candidate to replace outgoing President Biden.
The site’s opinion contributor, Pablo O’Hana wrote in a Saturday column: “The strongest argument against replacing President Joe Biden as the 2024 Democratic nominee is the notion that no suitable successor exists. But there is, and not just a good one but one of the most qualified people ever to run for the office: Hillary Rodham Clinton.”
The column went on to say that Clinton is “perhaps the mightiest of all” when it comes to Democratic alternatives. He also argues that Clinton is “younger than both Biden and Trump” and has “an unparalleled resume and an unmatched depth of experience.”
The column quickly prompted some reactions here on X from key figures.
Jason Miller, a communications strategist and former senior adviser to Trump, wrote, “SHE’S RUNNING!!! These opinion pieces don’t happen organically – Crooked is on the move!!!”
Conservative commentator Alex Sheppard commented on Miller’s post “If so, this is great news for Trump. She is the least likable politician of all time.”
Meanwhile, Deon Joseph, a former cop and law enforcement consultant responded to Miller’s post with “Oh hell no. Definitely voting for Trump Now.”
User @TheMagaHulk also wrote, “Hillary and Kamala are the only two desperate enough to run against Trump this election, especially after Saturday.”
