Trump plans huge tariffs on foreign medicine makers

Former President Trump announced plans to impose substantial tariffs on foreign pharmaceutical companies, particularly targeting those from China and India, during a recent campaign event in Michigan.

Trump criticized the current reliance on overseas drug manufacturing, emphasizing the need to rebuild American pharmaceutical production. His proposed policy would implement a 100% tariff on companies manufacturing medications abroad.

DHS Secretary Kristi Noem faced a confrontation with an undocumented immigrant during a public appearance. When the individual became aggressive, Noem maintained her composure and responded with a pointed remark before security intervened. Department of Defense spokesperson Sean Parnell engaged in a public dispute with Representative Jasmine Crockett regarding the dismissal of Admiral Shoshana Chatfield.

The controversy centered around allegations that Chatfield had refused to display official portraits of Trump and Pete Hegseth in military facilities. During Tom Homan’s address to the Arizona Legislature about missing children, several Democratic lawmakers staged a walkout.

The protesters carried signs displaying names of undocumented immigrants and continued their demonstration outside the Capitol building. The emotional protest culminated with one Democratic representative openly weeping during the proceedings.
