New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) is begging President Joe Biden to “fairly distribute” illegal aliens being released into the country across all cities and towns in the United States.
In a speech at the U.S. Conference of Mayors this week, the Democrat mayor urged the Biden administration to take several actions — including providing amnesty to all illegal aliens within the U.S., providing expedited work permits for illegal aliens, and to create an equal distribution program to send newly arrived illegal aliens to all cities and towns across the United States.
“Today I am calling for a national response to the asylum seeker crisis, which includes six main points,” Adams said.
The NYC mayor requested that the Biden administration appoint a “dedicated point-person whose sole focus is overseeing and coordinating our national asylum seeker response.”
Adams’ second request was that the Biden administration implements “a decompression strategy at the border that establishes a plan for each migrant’s arrival — and creates a system to fairly distribute newcomers regionally.”
Third, he asked for “congressional funding for the Federal Emergency Management Agency to implement that strategy in the places of greatest need.”
He then demanded that the administration create “expedited right to work options” for so-called “asylum seekers who are allowed to enter the country.”
Adams also asked for Congress to pass “legislation that provides a clear pathway to residency or citizenship for those who enter this country legally.”
Finally, the Democrat mayor requested “nationwide leadership that takes an all-hands-on-deck approach by bringing together nonprofits, the faith-based community, and the private sector, alongside state and local government to meet this challenge.”
Adams’ plea for Biden to “fairly distribute” illegal aliens across the U.S. comes amid a major crisis at the southern border — which has caused an apparent crisis in New York as well, with more than 40,000 illegal aliens arriving in New York City since the spring of 2022. Many of these illegal aliens were bussed to the “sanctuary city” of NYC from Texas.
The Democrat mayor’s comments also follow his recent assertion that there is “no more room” in New York City for illegal aliens, as the city’s homeless shelters are at capacity and many illegal aliens have been forced to sleep on the street.
“New York cannot take more. We can’t,” Adams said during a press conference in Texas. “There’s no more room in New York.”

Meanwhile, the Biden administration doesn’t seem to be taking any action to fix this crisis. Instead of cracking down on illegal immigration, they have been creating new programs to bring even more illegal aliens into the United States.
For example, the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) recently launched a mobile app that allows foreign nationals living in Mexico to schedule appointments to get released into the United States at the southern border.
The most recent estimates indicate that the Biden administration has released between 1.6 million to 2 million illegal aliens into the U.S. since February 2021.
