Chrissy Teigen is standing her ground against critics who took issue with a recent social media post showing her bathing with her children.

The 39-year-old model and television personality shared several photos on Instagram this weekend, with the first image depicting her enjoying a bath alongside Miles, 6, Esti, 2, and Wren, 1. The post, which she captioned with a playful “BAHHHHHHHHHHH,” also featured mirror selfies and candid shots of her 8-year-old daughter Luna playing with her siblings.

The bathroom snapshot quickly drew attention, with some followers expressing disapproval. When one user criticized her for “always [being] in dirty bathwater,” referencing a viral post from June 2024, Teigen swiftly responded, “It’s a coconut milk bath for sensitive skin but go off!”

Additional negative comments poured in, with critics labeling the photo “weird” and “creepy,” while expressing concerns about the children’s privacy. However, numerous supporters rushed to Teigen’s defense, with one fan noting the inevitability of criticism, writing, “Just waiting on the Karen’s [sic] to rip you a new one for doing something every mom has done.” Another supporter pointed out, “These kids have a better relationship with their parents than any of you mom shaming her. lol.”

Teigen shares her four children with musician John Legend, her husband since their Italian wedding in September 2013. Their journey to parenthood began with Luna’s birth in April 2016, followed by Miles two years later. After experiencing a devastating pregnancy loss in 2020 at 20 weeks, the couple welcomed Esti and Wren in 2023, with the latter born via surrogate.

The “Cravings” author has maintained openness about her experience with pregnancy loss, addressing her ongoing grief in a Medium essay that acknowledged her “greatest pain” remained significant even after a year. Both she and Legend honor their late son Jack through matching wrist tattoos, alongside other ink tributes to each other and their children.
