Prince Harry fondly reminisced about a memorable moment involving his pregnant wife Meghan Markle during their attendance at the 2018 Invictus Games.

“Every Invictus Games creates incredible experiences and holds special memories for everyone involved,” the Duke of Sussex said during an interview.

“My wife has been part of this community since shortly after the Orlando Games in 2016 and has loved every minute of it.”

The Duke of Sussex shared one particularly touching memory from the Sydney Games, where Meghan was expecting their firstborn, Prince Archie. The incident involved a warm interaction with a community member that sparked some protective instincts in Harry.

“I’ll never forget the bear hug I received from Rob out on Sydney Harbor — and my genuine concern that he might try the same with my wife, who was pregnant at the time!” he recalled.

“There truly is no better place to be than among these incredible individuals and their families.”

The couple’s family has since grown, with Archie arriving in May 2019, followed by Princess Lilibet’s birth in June 2021.

Meghan, known for her previous role in “Suits,” has maintained her commitment to the Invictus Games, an initiative Harry established in 2014, by attending the event annually.

The couple’s dedication to the Games continues, as evidenced by their recent joint appearance at this year’s event in Vancouver, Canada.
