Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign might not be getting the much-needed support she is counting on after a former Democrat voter’s shocking revelation.
Former Democrat voter Madeline Brame shocked Harris and the Democratic Party on Tuesday when she insisted “black America” will not support her campaign. Brame blasted the Democratic Party for playing the race card with Harris when it made her the presumptive presidential nominee.
Brame made the revelation during an appearance on Fox News’ “The Ingraham Angle.” The former Democrat discussed the recent shift in the Democratic presidential nominee after President Joe Biden’s withdrawal from the 2024 race on Sunday.
Brame, who now supports former President Donald Trump, called the Democrats’ race card strategy the “silliest thing” and emphasized the struggles Americans face under the current administration, noting that many “can’t make ends meet.”

“Most African Americans know that the illegals’ benefit card is worth more than our worthless black card. So why would we care about who Kamala Harris is, about her race, or her gender?”

“It is absolutely the most silliest thing that they could possibly do. Because most African-Americans know that the illegals benefit card is worth more than our worthless black card. So why would we care about who Kamala Harris is, her race or her gender,” Brame told host Laura Ingraham. “We care about the policies that she has pushed with Joe Biden for the past three and a half years. We are struggling. We can’t even make ends meet. You talked about retirement earlier. I have to work until I’m 70 years old in order to get my full retirement. So, you know, no black America is not supporting Kamala Harris, alright? Her color has nothing to do with the failed policies that she has championed and stood on for three and a half years.”
Attention Republicans. This is how you attack Kamala Harris. Here’s the blueprint:

Harris’ campaign is, however, picking up steam after California’s DNC delegation voted Monday to support the vice president. Reports suggest that 2,688 delegates have pledged to back Harris as of Tuesday morning. That figure took her well over the 1,976 she needed to secure the nomination. Harris celebrated the latest milestone in a statement posted on X.
Tonight, I am proud to have earned the support needed to become our party’s nominee.
Over the next few months, I'll be traveling across the country talking to Americans about everything on the line. I fully intend to unite our party and our nation, and defeat Donald Trump. pic.twitter.com/Bsq3N6pMAi

“When I announced my campaign for President, I said I intended to go out and earn this nomination,” Harris wrote. “Tonight, I am proud to have secured the broad support needed to become our party’s nominee, and as a daughter of California, I am proud that my home state’s delegation helped put our campaign over the top.”
Despite Harris’ recent victory, which put her on the brink of securing the party’s ticket, former President Barack Obama has still not endorsed her.
