The youngest child of former President Donald Trump, Barron Trump was seen Wednesday strolling to classes at New York University for the first day of college.
The youngest Trump showed up Wednesday at the downtown Manhattan campus surrounded by Secret Service agents and wearing his trademark black Swiss Gear backpack slung over one shoulder.
Wearing a white polo shirt, black pants and Adidas Gazelle sneakers, Barron stopped by the dean’s office first before attending his classes that afternoon.
Which classes Barron will take at NYU is still unknown with a cost of tuition starting around $62,700 per year. It’s unclear too if Barron and his Secret Service detail will be subjected to additional security screenings.
Barron, who was enrolled at the elite Oxbridge Academy in West Palm Beach, Florida last May when he applied for a spot at St. Andrew’s Episcopal School, would be living off campus and commuting 12 miles to Trump Tower daily with his mother Melania from their $100m penthouse on Fifth Avenue per sources.
Barron’s selection of NYU had never previously been revealed. His father, Donald Trump, told The Post exclusively last month that his son would be starting at a university in New York this fall but did not say which one.
“Really a very fine young man — and he should be in good hands,” Trump said at the time of his son, who had multiple colleges that accepted him.
The former president has also said his only child with wife Melania has shown an interest in politics and sometimes gives the then-president advice.
