Trump Says He’s ‘A Lot Sharper Than’ Haley

Former President Donald Trump tore into former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley in response to her comments about his age last weekend.

Asked on Fox News what he thought about Haley’s attack on his age, in which she doubted his mental fitness for mixing her up with former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Trump said that he is in fact “a lot sharper” than Haley.

“I would do this, let’s sit down right now and take an aptitude test, and it would be my result against her result. And she’s not gonna win, not gonna even come close to winning,” he stated.

“I would do this, let’s sit down right now and take an aptitude test, and it would be my result against her result. And she’s not gonna win, not gonna even come close to winning. I took one with Dr. Ronny, who is now a fantastic Congressman from Texas. … I took one then and I took one recently, I think the result was announced, and I aced it twice. I aced it. But I would say that I’ve actually called for a cognitive test for anybody running for president, it would be nice to have an intelligent person as president,” he stated.

During a speech in New Hampshire on Saturday, Haley had gone down the age route, as she paired him with President Joe Biden, asking voters if they “really want to go into an election with two fellas that are going to be president in their 80’s.”

“We see that Biden has changed so much over two years. But last night, Trump is at a rally and he’s going on and on mentioning me multiple times as to why I didn’t take security during the capitol riot, why I didn’t handle Jan. 6 better,” she stated further, pointing out that Trump has confused her for Pelosi, as she (Haley) was not in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 6, 2021.

Trump, on Friday, had said to a crowd, “You know, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, Nikki Haley, you know they — do you know they destroyed all of the information and all of the evidence? Everything. Deleted and destroyed all of it. All of it because of, lots of things. Like, Nikki Haley is in charge of security. We offered her 10,000 people.”
