Travis Kelce was emotional while attending girlfriend Taylor Swift’s recent Eras Tour stop in Amsterdam.
Videos appeared on social media showing Kelce in a suite with quarterback Patrick Mahomes, as well as wife Brittany Mahomes and others. Kelce can be seen crying in the videos as Swift performed last week in Amsterdam.
At the time, she was doing a piano mashup of songs that fans thought were dedicated to Kelce – hence the emotion. Brittany Mahomes is seen at one point speaking to Kelce, potentially consoling the 34-year-old as Swift continued singing on stage.
Following the show, Kelce was in a sea of fans as he exited this Amsterdam stadium with Swift; fired up that crowd to yell for his girlfriend yet again after another big performance.
Kelce and Swifties were going nuts to Swift’s mashup of songs “Mary’s Song,” “So High School,” and “Everything Has Changed.”
The Mahomes have been attending Swift shows with Kelce throughout the year, as Brittany and Taylor hit it off in the stands of the Kansas Chief’s games up and down the country.
In addition, Kelce joined Swift on the stage of The Eras Tour last week to surprise London fans.
Jason Kelce, Travis’s older brother, said in the season 2 finale of their “New Heights” podcast, “On night 3, something magical happened. Somehow, you made your way on the stage.”
“It’s very unlike me,” Travis replied with a smile. “I don’t love going on stages.
“I initially mentioned it to Tay. I was like, ‘How funny would it be if I just rolled out on one of the bikes during the ’1989′ era?'” he explained to Jason. “She started laughing, and she was like, ‘Would you seriously be up for doing something like that?’ And I was just like, ‘Are you – what? I would love to do that. Are you kidding me?’ I’ve seen the show enough. Might as well put me to work here.’
“She found the perfect, perfect part of the show for me to come in. There was no bike, in case I, like, ran into somebody else or hit one of the dancers or anything. It was like the safest option.”
Swift was seen at one point in Kelce’s arms as he carried her away during the show. The couple has had quite the summer of love, but Kelce will return to work very soon with Chiefs training camp set to start.
