Former Destiny’s Child member Michelle Williams expressed her dismay on social media after encountering an unexpected passenger’s foot near her first-class airplane seat. The 45-year-old singer shared her experience on Instagram, posting an image of the intrusive foot alongside her seat. “I PROMISE YOU BETTA GETCHO FOOT FROM ME!!!! ๐จ,” she wrote.
“Y’all this is happening neowwwwwwww on my flight and I am crying real tears!!” Addressing queries from her followers, Williams clarified in the comments section, “For those asking……… YES I am sitting in the first class cabin. A lot of AUDACITY resides in that booking class……… OBVIOUSLY!! #seat3F the f is for feet ๐.” Following her journey, the Broadway performer shared a video update, dramatically celebrating her survival of the incident by singing, “I made it out. I made it out alright.” She recounted the moment she discovered the foot in her peripheral vision, expressing her initial disbelief at the situation. Despite her initial reaction, Williams offered a balanced perspective on the encounter.

She acknowledged that the fellow passenger’s foot was well-maintained, describing it as “conditioned” and “moisturized.” She also showed understanding for the passenger’s possible need to stretch during the flight. The singer even highlighted the passenger’s courteous behavior, noting his assistance with her overhead luggage. Still, Williams humorously mentioned needing to shower after the experience to cleanse herself of “someone else’s feet.”
The incident occurred during Williams’ return flight to New York City, where she’s currently performing in “Death Becomes Her,” following her attendance at a funeral in Illinois. In her comedic commentary about the situation, she added, “Cue the song ‘nasty work’ by @yahyahanddomo_ ๐๐๐.”
