The celebration, attended by approximately 25 guests including friends and family members, showcased the joy shared between Blanchard and her partner, Ken Urker, as they prepare for parenthood.
“Ken and I were so excited to have a beautiful celebration that our daughter, Aurora Raina Urker, can look back on and see how our community welcomed and embraced her with love,” Blanchard, 33, told People.
“She will be supported and given all the happiness a child should experience,” she added.
The festive occasion, hosted at LARC’s Acadian Village, featured catering by Rusty Noel of Rusty’s Seasoning and sweet treats from Dipped’ by Ryder, including themed desserts in pink and white. Sugar Mama Designer Cookies contributed special cookies featuring the baby’s 4D ultrasound images.
The expectant mother embraced the celebration wearing a Show Me Your Mumu dress decorated with pink roses, complemented by white wedge heels.
“I felt supported and happy,” she told the magazine.
The announcement follows Blanchard’s July pregnancy revelation, which came three months after initiating divorce proceedings from Ryan Anderson. Blanchard and Urker, who were previously engaged in 2018 before separating in 2020, reconnected romantically in April.
