President Biden Gets ‘Sandbagged’ Again

President Joe Biden, while addressing a crowd on Friday in Philadelphia momentarily stumbled on a short flight of steps before delivering an uplifting speech about the economy and climate change.

In a candid moment captured on video, the 80-year-old president was seen approaching the steps dressed in a suit, tie and stylish black Ray Ban aviator sunglasses. However, as he took his first step, he briefly stumbled, quickly managing to regain his footing. He proceeded up the steps and took another stumble before steadying himself by grasping the staircase railing.

After the tripping incidents, Biden addressed the audience on his vision for the nation’s economic future. “I truly believe this country’s about to take off, and for the first time in a long time, we’re actually investing in America. We’re investing in Americans, not just America,” he stated.

He then attempted to add a touch of humor, remarking on his years of experience, and expressing unprecedented optimism for the nation’s future.

This incident wasn’t the President’s first public stumble. In June, during the U.S. Air Force Academy graduation ceremony, he experienced a similar moment. As he briskly walked off center stage, he tripped and stumbled, momentarily going down to his knees. It took the intervention of Secret Service agents to help him back up.

The White House tried to explain it away by claiming he seemed to trip “on a black sandbag on the stage.” But that was also not the first of such incidents. Back in 2021, he tripped up the stairs while he tried to get onto Air Force One. Last year’s fall had him falling off his bike.

Biden’s falls have been tied to his health. According to his annual physical conducted in February by his physician, Dr. Kevin O’Connor, he deals with atrial fibrillation, peripheral neuropathy in his feet, and hyperlipidemia.

His latest trip attracted attention as well as criticism, as many feared that doesn’t bode well for the U.S. government.

“Nothing will strike fear into hamas and Iran quite like Biden tripping up the steps AGAIN today,” conservative commentator Tim Young wrote.

Conservative influencer Ryan Cunningham decided to tie it to the ousting of the president from power, writing, “Biden’s fall on stage before his great fall from power.”
