The YouTuber revealed a significant loss of subscribers, stating, “When I woke up this morning, we had lost 5,000 subscribers compared to where we were last night.” He expressed disbelief at the sudden drop, noting that in his 15-year YouTube career, subscriber counts had always trended upward.
Pakman voiced concern about the left’s response to defeat, comparing it unfavorably to the right’s approach. He emphasized the right’s tendency to organize, fund, and create effective organizations in the face of losses, while the left appears to be withdrawing.
The YouTuber described his channel’s predicament as an “algorithmic de-subscription spiral,” explaining that as people unsubscribe, YouTube’s algorithm becomes less likely to recommend his content. As time passed, Pakman reported an even greater loss, reaching 10,000 unsubscribes.
