Democrat Screams At Republicans Over Guns, Rep. Massie Claps Back

An unhinged Democrat congressman was videotaped screaming at Republicans in the halls of Congress, calling them “cowards” and “gutless” for refusing to enact gun control and claiming that they are responsible for schoolchildren being murdered.

As lawmakers were leaving the House floor after evening votes, Rep. Jamaal Bowman (D-NY) stopped in the hall in front of reporters to shout at his GOP colleagues.

“They’re cowards! They’re all cowards! They won’t do anything to save the lives of our children at all. Cowards!” the Democrat congressman screamed. “Question them. Force them to respond to the question, ‘Why the hell don’t you do anything to save America’s children?’ And let them explain that all the way up until Election Day on 2024.”

While other Republicans ignored Bowman’s unhinged screaming, Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) stopped to challenge his false claims.

“You know, there’s never been a school shooting in a school that allows teachers to carry,” Massie tried to tell Bowman while he continued to shout.

“Carry guns? More guns lead to more death! More guns lead to more death!” the Democrat screeched. “Look at the data — you’re not looking at any data!”

Bowman began inching closer to Massie’s face while accusing him of “carrying water” for the gun lobby, and claimed — without evidence — that states with legal open carry have “more death.”

Massie continued to try to engage with his Democrat colleague, but Bowman just kept screaming.

As the Democrat congressman repeatedly asked Massie if he worked in a school like he had, the Republican decided to try to defuse the situation and instead talk to the media — but Bowman wasn’t having it. He then accosted Massie, putting his hands on his Republican colleague several times while demanding that Massie continue to engage with him despite his refusal to stop shouting. Bowman even tried to block Massie from speaking with the press while screaming over him.

Ultimately, the Kentucky Republican was able to make his point to reporters when Bowman finally walked away.

Massie told the press that schoolchildren deserve to have the same level of protection as Congress, referring to the armed security provided to lawmakers, and pointed out that school campuses with armed security personnel have never had a shooting occur. This is evidenced by documents found in the home of the latest mass shooter, which revealed that she had ruled out other locations for the massacre because they had too much security.

Meanwhile, Bowman somehow saw his actions as a win — sharing the video of his screaming to Twitter while continuing to attack Republicans.

“Republicans won’t do S— when it comes to gun violence, but try to tell me to calm down. NO. We can’t calm down. People are dying every day while we wait,” he tweeted.
