President Joe Biden championed the diversity, equity and inclusion agenda during an address at the Detroit NAACP Fight For Freedom Fund Dinner on Sunday night.
Speaking to the attendees at the event, Biden stated, “Look, the values of diversity, equity and inclusion are the core strength of America. That’s why I’m proud to have the most diverse administration in history to tap into the full talents of our country.”
“I promised you when I was president I would have an administration that looked more like America, We have more African-American, we have more women, we have more minorities in our administration than any other administration in all of history. That’s why we’re doing so damn well,” he added.

“As three-quarters of likely voters in these six battleground states say the economy is no better than only fair or poor, large majorities in each state trust Donald Trump to do a better job on the country’s financial well-being than Joe Biden,” a Siena College poll synopsis from last week stated.
Despite Biden’s promotion of DEI, it has been kicked against from various quarters, with about 40 U.S. Secret Service agents signing a petition in early May asking the Congress to investigate whether DEI policies have created a national security threat.
According to Jennifer Jacobs, a Bloomberg White House correspondent who broke the news in a social media post last week, revealing that the petition are concerned about “incidents indicative of inadequate training,’ a double standard in disciplinary actions, and a vulnerability ‘to potential insider threats.’”

Western Journal reported that the petition was launched after a female secret service agent placed on Vice President Kamala Harris’ security detail suffered a breakdown on the job at Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. She reportedly initiated a physical confrontation with her commanding agent.
