Arkansas Governor Eliminates ‘Woke’ Language In Government Documents

Arkansas Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders has taken a strong stance in defense of women’s rights and common sense. Sanders, who made history as the first female governor of Arkansas, signed an executive order aimed at eliminating what she referred to as “woke, anti-women” language from government documents.

In the executive order, Sanders emphasized the importance of acknowledging the biological differences between men and women.

“The science is clear and real; [there] are things only women can do, like perform the miracle of birth,” she stated, expressing the belief that the government should celebrate gender distinctions between men and women rather than erasing them with inclusive language.

This executive order comes at a time when radical left-wing ideologies promoting so-called “inclusive” or “culturally conscious” language have been seeping into state governments and institutions across America, including schools. Sanders has taken a firm stand against these ideologies, asserting that it’s time to put an end to attempts to erase women and girls.

One example cited in Arkansas was the state’s health department using the term “pregnant people” instead of “pregnant women.” However, under Governor Sanders’ new order, state officials are now required to use terms specific to women, such as “pregnant women” or “pregnant mom.”

This move is part of what Sanders describes as “banning a number of all sorts of ridiculous words from state government documents.”

The governor spoke passionately about the need to stop erasing women and denying biological differences, stating, “They’re using nonsense words to erase women and girls – and more importantly, to erase our voices and experiences.”

Sanders echoes the belief among conservatives that it is the left that has attempted to redefine what it means to be a woman and that it is time to stand against this “woke nonsense.”

This latest action is not the first time Sanders has taken a stand against woke indoctrination. Earlier this year, she signed an executive order banning the term “Latinx” from government documents, citing its cultural insensitivity. Sanders firmly believes that ethnically insensitive language has no place in official government documents.

She also signed an executive order banning the teaching of Critical Race Theory in schools, describing it as “antithetical to the traditional American values of neutrality, equality, and fairness.”
