CNN’s ratings have taken a deep dive into the basement since President Donald Trump has left office.

As we reported, Brian Stelter’s “Reliable Sources” show went down by 72%. But there’s someone on CNN whose ratings have taken an even greater dive.

That’s Jake Tapper, whose show “The Lead with Jake Tapper” has dropped into the basement by 75% since January, going from 2.8 million viewers in January to only 706,000 over the past month. He’s also lost in the 25-54 demographic, dropping 79% from January in the first three weeks of this month.

Meanwhile, his Fox competition, “Your World with Neil Cavuto” still earned over a million, losing far less.

Tapper was given an extra hour in April but that didn’t seem to help. Fox beat him in that hour, too, averaging 2.6 million through June 23 while Tapper only averaged 799,000 in that time period.

Tapper’s ratings have taken this dive as he’s become even more partisan, attacking Republicans continually on his show, since January.

One would think he might see a relationship there but it apparently hasn’t helped him to be less partisan.

Guess who didn’t miss this news and is having a good laugh at the expense of Tapper and CNN?

President Donald Trump. He trolled Tapper with a message today, highlighting the drop in Tapper’s ratings.

“ICYMI: Ratings Alert: CNN’s ‘The Lead with Jake Tapper’ has shed a staggering 75% of its audience since January (when Trump left D.C.). CNN and MSNBC are both down big, but so are they all!”

You have to imagine he’s feeling pretty gratified with that news, but now this is showing how much they needed him to keep their shows afloat, and without him there, they’re sinking like stones. But it couldn’t happen to more deserving folks than Stelter and Tapper who have spent a large majority of their time going after Trump and acting like Democratic operatives rather than real journalists. I’m thinking it’s fair to say that they really do miss Trump now and it’s hitting them right in the pocketbook.

Others joined Trump in laughing at Tapper.
