If the left has learned anything, it’s that rioting in the street and destroying things worked, no extensive federal investigation into the damage and death that plagued the nation in 2020. And now, voting rights are racially motivated because of the identification requirement. Every citizen can get identification, but all know where to get one, and if they don’t, resources are available to bring identification to every citizen.
That brings up the big question about fairness. Is it fair that voters have to show identification to vote in a country with almost 330 million citizens? Of course, it is. To buy a firearm, you must have identification, which is a constitutional right similar to voting. So, either remove identification from handgun purchases or require it to vote. That’s all there is to it.
The 2020 election showed Americans that it’s possible to cast ballots in large federal elections fraudulently, and even though it may be on a small scale or large scale, it’s still possible. Election integrity shouldn’t be a radical idea from the conservative side of the aisle. Every legal vote counts, and every vote matters, period. Requiring identification isn’t some restriction as the left wants everyone to think. Voting rights are nothing compared to civil rights and don’t deserve to be in the same conversation. The civil rights movement fought for the rights of a segregated group, and they won. And you think showing identification to vote is somehow related to segregation? Well, it depends who you ask.
Eric Holder, Barack Obama’s former Attorney General, thinks civil rights and voting rights are the same. He told MSNBC, “In raising the consciousness of people by demonstrating, by getting arrested, by doing the things that ended segregation. If you would’ve asked people back in the 1950s, Do you believe that marching and demonstrating will bring down an American apartheid system? You most likely would have said, Nah, that’s just not going to happen.”
So, Eric Holder thinks that it’s okay for people to break the law and get arrested in the street for voting rights? First, everyone already has the right to vote, and second, isn’t that what happened on January 6th? Is that what Holder is suggesting? Does Holder want people to follow the guidance of the 2020 riots and burn down cities and kill people? It seems like a crime.
Holder committed a federal crime. Who’s going to hold him accountable? The federal incitement of riot charges carries up to 5 years in federal prison. Holder made no mention of obeying the law or remaining peaceful. He specifically said that they should get arrested in protest of the voting laws. Ridiculous.
