Former LGBT Center Employee Speaks Out Against Gender Ideology ‘Indoctrination Campaign’

A former employee at a nonprofit LGBT center in New York has come forward to express deep regret for her involvement in what she calls the left’s gender ideology “indoctrination campaign.”

In an exclusive interview with Fox News Digital, Kay Yang revealed how she was unwittingly drawn into promoting harmful gender ideology to young children, a practice she now denounces.

Back in 2011, Yang joined the center with the noble intention of advocating for the rights of same-sex couples to marry. “I thought, ‘Wow, I want to help people who are being marginalized, who are being oppressed. I don’t think that anyone should be discriminated against,’” she stated.

Initially, the center had limited involvement with transgender individuals, especially children. Yang admitted that she had no knowledge of transgenderism at the time but was still considered an “expert” on the subject.

This designation allowed her to visit schools, businesses, organizations, and the community, where she and her colleagues were seen as knowledgeable authorities.

“Through working there, I became indoctrinated. We would go into schools or businesses, organizations, and the community. They would see us as experts,” she shared.

As time went on, Yang began to realize that she had unwittingly become a part of something more insidious. “I started to realize that what I had been doing at my job at the LGBT Center, it was grooming,” she said.

“I came to realize what we were doing… years after the fact. I looked back and [thought], ‘Oh my God, what have I done?’ What have I contributed to? I actually felt devastated. It was very difficult to process and deal with. I had to really face myself and what I had done,” she added as she expressed beliefs that her “good intentions” were manipulated into promoting a “widespread social engineering and indoctrination campaign.”

“I didn’t know what was going on that was normalizing these policies and these practices that are pushing irreversible medical damage on healthy children,” she added.

Today, Yang openly opposes gender ideology prompted by deep concern about the erosion of gender-based rights for women and girls.

As Yang continues to speak out against the dangers of gender ideology even amid verbal and physical abuse, she hopes that her story will serve as a cautionary tale amid her protests against the indoctrination of young children with gender ideology.
