Federal Judge Tosses Lawsuit Seeking to Impair New York Elections

Democrat super-lawyer and Russian collusion hoaxing expert Marc Elias received another beatdown from a federal judge this week.

U.S. District Judge Lewis Kaplan tossed a lawsuit filed by Elias that was designed to undermine the legitimacy of the upcoming elections in the Empire State.

Judge Lewis, who was appointed to the federal bench by President Clinton, described the complaint filed in the case as a “Hail Mary pass” that was designed to “take a long shot try at having the New York primaries conducted on district lines that the state says are unconstitutional.”

Elias has a long-standing reputation for using influence, money, and deception to manipulate elections across America to favor Democratic candidates. In the recent case he asked the court to enter an order imposing the House districting maps drawn by the Democratic party. That map would provide the party an inside track on three additional seats in this year’s midterm elections.

Kaplan rejected the request to reject the order entered by the New York state Court of Appeals that disallowed the Democrats’ proposed map. He chastised Elias and the Democrats for attempting to impair “free, open, rational elections and respect for the courts.”

The judge wrote in his order that the relief sought in the complaint runs counter to those two principles, which he said his Ukrainian refugee father “drilled into my head.”

Elias was involved in organizing efforts to change hundreds of election laws and procedures in the lead-up to the 2020 election in the name of COVID-19 relief. Those changes flooded elections everywhere with tens of millions of low-security mail-in ballots. The “emergency” changes were exploited by leftist organizations funded by billionaire Mark Zuckerberg.

Elias was also rejected by a federal judge in January when he filed a request for relief from sanctions imposed on him for attempting to deceive the court. At the time he was fighting against Republicans in Texas who had eliminated “straight-ticket” voting in the state’s 2020 elections. Elias was sanctioned for acting “without candor” inside the courtroom.

U.S. Special Counsel John Durham has also alleged recently that Elias intentionally acted with deception regarding the infamous Steele dossier during the 2016 presidential election. While working for the Hillary Clinton campaign, Elias allegedly lied by depicting Fusion GPS’s work in the matter as “legal work.”

The criminal trial of Elias’s former law partner Michael Sussmann for lying to the FBI in that matter begins later this month.
