Biden Says ’Democracy’ 37 Times In 20 Minutes

As the midterm elections approach, prominent Democrats — including President Joe Biden — are out on the campaign trail in a last-ditch effort to push voters to support Democrat candidates.

In a speech warning voters not to let Republicans regain control of Congress, the president appeared desperate — using the left’s new favorite talking point about “democracy” being at stake. In fact, Biden pushed the message so hard that he used the word “democracy” 37 times in a 20-minute speech.

During what appeared to be the president’s final pitch to voters, begging them to choose Democrats in the November 8 midterm elections, Biden argued that the “very soul of America itself” is on the line.

The president’s speech came as projections from analysts — along with numerous polls — show that Republicans will likely regain the majority in the House of Representatives and the Senate. Democrats may even lose a few districts that Biden won by significant margins in 2020.

Projections from the non-partisan Cook Political Report recently changed 10 House districts in favor of Republicans, with Cook Political explaining some of the districts that Biden won comfortably are now at risk of being lost to the GOP because Democrat governors are underperforming.

While warning Americans not to elect Republicans, Biden mentioned the word “democracy” nearly 40 times — claiming that democracy is “at risk,” “under threat” and “under attack.”

The president even claimed that “democracy itself” is at stake in the midterm elections.

He also went on to assert that several hundred Republican candidates running for office during this election cycle embody the “appetites of autocracy” because of their views regarding the 2020 election.

Biden then begged voters to make “the future of our democracy” an important consideration when making their decision in the voting booth.

“My fellow Americans, we’ll meet this moment. We just need to remember who we are. We are the United States of America. There’s nothing, nothing beyond our capacity, if we do it together. And God bless you all. May God protect our troops. May God bless those standing guard over democracy. Thank you. Godspeed,” the president concluded.

Noticeably, Biden failed to mention anything about significant issues affecting the daily lives of the American people during his speech to voters, such as gas prices, crime and inflation.

Analyzing Biden’s speech, Breitbart News noted: “Biden’s speech was sharply partisan, ignoring Democrats who protested the results of the 2016 election, falsely declaring Trump an illegitimate president elected because of Russian influence. He also ignored incidents of Democrat political violence and political figures who refused to acknowledge legitimate elections.”

“Biden repeated many of the talking points about democracy he has pursued since his inauguration, again blaming Republicans for endangering the future of democracy in the United States,” the outlet added.
